Spring Racing Starts

Last weekend was the start of the road season in the Kansas City area and a few member of the team got a start on their season. Chet made the trip from Lincoln to give the Saturday Spring Fling crit a try and then follow it up with The Dam Race on Sunday. Good turnout on both days made the races tough but it's good training for this time of year. Chet had a good race Saturday and finished in the field for 22nd place.

Sunday I ventured to the Dam race along with Chet. Under cold and very wind conditions we started the race in a good sized group. During the race I got off the front of the group with 1 other rider only to be caught with one lap to go. At the finish the field sprinted up the hill with Chet finishing 9th and myself 14th. Not a bad start for this time of the year!

Racing continues in the KC area for the rest of the month. I'll post updates as they happen.
